Winners of the Simply the best award for 2020

The award for 2020 was received by 41 individuals, companies and institutions.


This traditional annual award for quality, inventiveness and creativity in tourism was established in 2009, and is awarded jointly by UHPA - the umbrella association of Croatian travel agencies and the specialized travel magazine Way to Croatia. The awards for 2020 were awarded as part of the 22nd PUT stock exchange held in Crikvenica and Selc from November 23 to 25, 2021, and were received by 41 individuals, companies and institutions.

Dubrovnik heritage d.o.o.
for the topicality and inventiveness of the approach to the pandemic through the realization of the Exhibition COVID-19 and the plague - the present in the past, which used the current moment to present the valuable historical heritage of the Republic of Dubrovnik

Museum of the City of Criklvenica
for topicality and creativity in the approach to the presentation of historical materials by realizing the First on the Adriatic exhibition, which marked the 60th anniversary of the first ferry line Crikvenica - Šilo, and visitors were offered an interesting tourist product

for many years of creative work in the field of agency business and contribution to the realization of a series of events and projects of the local community, which made a significant contribution to the tourism design of the destination

Prof. Ph.D.Sc. Jasna Horvat
for many years of inventive work deeply woven into Croatian travel literature through which she creatively connected the past and present by presenting heritage content, and connected Croatia with the global community through archetypal characters such as Marco Polo and Nikola Tesla with her novels. In doing so, it also made a significant contribution to the promotion of Croatia as an interesting and meaningful tourist destination.
